HIV Docs Believe Meds Prevent Transmission, But Don’t Start ARVs Early

HIV clinicians widely believe in the antiretroviral (ARV) treatment as prevention model, but they don’t necessarily apply the concept to individual patients, with only one in seven clinicians immediately starting treatment in patients, a new study has found.
